Nothing is more frustrating than having an amazing start as Punjab and taking a large enough portion of India to be the dominant power and then dying to a coalition because the Ottomans have a single fucking province in Gujarat. For example, limit it to nations that have exploration/expansion ideas (one or the other, perhaps both) and to nations that have some form of trade power there already, through colonising.
