I agree that they act super weird and over the top about how much they love each other, but when you think about it, Dax is super weird like that about everyone. A post shared by kristen bell (@kristenanniebell) on Sep 1, 2020 at 6:13pm PDT Dax Shepard is celebrating 16 years of sobriety with support from his wife, Kristen …
I find mono people weirder. My best friend from childhood is extremely close with my husband and I and she often jokingly calls us mom and dad. The four discuss what Monica and Jess learned from the experience, how they've grown and the things they can't un-learn after this journey.
She looks to be in her 30s but talks like an 8 year old. Also, they're obviously pushing Monica's career very hard. Dax Shepard’s biggest hit is a podcast he records in his attic - Los Angeles Times Earwolf & Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, The Bald and the Beautiful with Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamo. Even when talking to my daughter about other parents, it becomes “Billy’s mommy.”.
Am I just projecting a weirdness that isn't there to other people? As far as insinuating she's in a relationship with them, I think that's old school, patriarchal, anti-lgbt thinking that men and women can't be close friends, people can't be as close with friends as their spouse, couples can't have a single friend that's close to both of them, etc. Oh they're all dating each other, for sure. I don't mean for this to get stuck in salacious or creepy territory but am I totally offbase to think their relationship is kinda, unconventional at best? Part 10: Monica & Jess Love Each Other with Dax & Kristen. Dax Shepard reveals relapse after 16 years of sobriety during emotional podcast episode ... actress Kristen Bell, and to his podcast producer, Monica Padman.

Kristen Bell has posted a lot on her social media about the need to normalize adult, platonic relationships and the importance of these relationships.
While I can't relate to how Monica started her relationship with Dax and Kristen, I was in a similar circumstance for a while when I was in a relationship. It WAS an inside joke, and everyone on the outside is now aware of it.

In Part 10: Monica and Jess love each other, M and J chat with Kristen and Dax for their final episode. Dax Shepard and Monica Padman are the hosts of “Armchair Expert,” a long-form interview podcast that has become popular for its candid conversations with celebrities. I refer to my wife more times as “mommy” than I do by her actual name. Just throwing this out there... when you start to be surrounded by kids, mommy/daddy is used way more than actual names. Idk if you forgot an /s but you made me laugh so ♀️. I think the fact that they all lean in so hard to the public lovey doveyness is what kinda raised it up to seeming a little unusual but hey, friendships come in lots of different shapes and sizes I suppose haha. In larger part, the world doesn't normalize having extremely close single friends with a couple, when you're married, but that's exactly what Monica is. I'm pretty sure his sister is their nanny right now. Dax Shepard (L), pictured with Kristen Bell, said he's seven days sober after abusing prescription pills. He wrote the 2017 film CHIPS that Monica and Kristen Bell had roles in.
I guess the mom/dad/soulmate stuff and the fact that she seems to be very closely and cozily within their family unit just made me think it seemed different in some way, almost like they live in a commune together haha. I honestly can't really put my finger on it, I don't just assume they're polyamorous lovers like some people did at one point but at the same time it's a relationship that seems to have some unusual flavors to it.
Wouldn’t your wife be your soul mate? I prefer to just take people at face value and not assume any extra sexual layers that aren't there because that's creepy. Too often, we believe that adults should couple up and then close themselves off to all other forms of love. I can't tell what of it is just them being friends and joking around and how much of it is maybe a little bit more than that. Press J to jump to the feed.
Haha.
Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts. We both love her so much but it's all completely platonic. How old is this Monica person? And like my grandparents are never called by their name. The Mom/Dad thing is just their weirdness I think because she thinks of them as mentors, and they really took her under their wings, so it was like a funny thing but now it's just old. Seeing their lovey dovey posts on Monica's birthday the other day when they were out for dinner with some of Dax/Kristen's best friends kinda brought this back to mind for me, not to mention Monica calling them Daddy and Mommy, and obviously Dax calling Monica his soulmate in every ep of the podcast.
