The same happened to me.
Oh, well, it was worth a shot. PDA. If so, then it might be possible to replace the ntsc wipeout 3 game's 8 tracks with the pal versions wipeout 3se's classic tracks.
does anyone have 3se and the japanese version as well. View Full Version : Modifying Wipeout 3 SE.
You could also play the devilia tracks. I wanted to get to play time trial, championship and single race with the prototype tracks, so I replaced the files contained in the folder called wipeoutc for the ones that were in the folder wipeout3.
And quite possibly you could use the zone ship on all of the tracks. cobol, your method does not work on the playstation, is there any other way to do these modifications? But it didn't work, the game hung up after the loading screen. How about putting both the original and the Special Edition on the same disc and using a boot menu to choose between them.
The data in this game is stored in a very strange way. The game I used was the special edition for ps1. Is this a possible manouver. I can't find what's wrong and the program doesn't have too many options. okay cobol, I got a question. Totally awesome, drool, fantastic, unreal.....play all the tracks with zone mode... :o :o :o :o :o. From what you have been doing it seems like this might be possible. Try replacing the regular ships with the prototype ships that are used on the last two prototype tracks. Thus making an ntsc special edition. View Full Version : Modifying Wipeout 3 SE. The j version already has all of the protos, so a ntsc version would be possible, it would be two discs though. Important!! is it a pc cd or a psx cd u modifyed?
WipeoutZone Forum > The Games > WipEout 3 Special Edition > Modifying Wipeout 3 SE. I create a cd structure but when I compile the image, the music tracks are omitted. Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.5 Copyright © 2020 vBulletin Solutions Inc. All rights reserved. I expected … The game actually looks better on my other TV!! The engine of W'O was a basis to the one in WOXL but they were different.
yeah i used to do that too yuuusen. Thus making an ntsc special edition.
Also, if you can do this with wipeout fusion you could play zone mode on every track.
Is it possible to switch the collection of classic tracks with the wipeout 3 tracks just on that particular version, so the tracks will be in the opposite selection box. Could you check this out with the regular pal versions(wipeout 3 and wipeout 3se).
Tekken 3. How about replacing the wipeout 3 tracks from the first wipeout 3 game with the classic tracks from 3se from wipeout 3se. My guess is the files are the same size for the same tracks between se and J Tracks have different file endings and there is a slight diference in size between J and se.
I can't understand where is the stuff stored (3d models, textures, sound effects, ...). I mean, it wouldn't be a problem if the lenght of the music tracks was the same or would it?
15th March 2004, 10:01 PM. that's right - you can't see the rain, but what you can see is the reflection of the engine on the wet track!!
After creating two successful PlayStation titles and a Nintendo 64 version, Psygnosis returns to the CD based console with … I don't think so. If you can reburn it that would be awesome. Is this a possible manouver. noah, as far as the file sizes being different in wipeout3se and wipeout 3 I don't think will be a problem with the japanese version.
Cobol. If you have wo3se I can probably provide the japanese version. The engine of W'O was used in other games like Destruction Derby, Assault Rigs (call it the 1st generation of games for Playstation) so by the time of release of WOXL it was modified.
sheesh..everyone tried that Audio CD-swap trick...(i guess). it was nicer with the xbox when you could make soundtracks that switched songs themselves, though. I've uploaded a video I made playing time trial on a prototype track.
Is anyone willing to try the technique for getting a ntsc wo3se version going. I have a pal TV anyways now so it all fits and I don't have to use that modified version I used to have. zargz, yes but the japanese version has much better physics on some of the tracks, runs at a faster framerate, and will play correctly on a modified psx(a pal version will not unless you have that pal/ntsc switch fix), and then it runs way too fast and doesn't fit onto the screen correctly.
The one problem is, you can't hear the tracks from the start, it's pretty random also, the music tracks start somewhere in the middle, not to mention that the first audio track will be always skipped.
I wanted to get to play time trial, championship and single race with the prototype tracks, so I replaced the files contained in the folder called wipeoutc for the ones that were in the folder wipeout3. I have made images that include the videos but I still can't add the audio tracks. How about replacing the wipeout 3 tracks from the first wipeout 3 game with the classic tracks from 3se from wipeout 3se. If this is possible, I think it may be possible to put the classic tracks onto the japanese wo3. That would be pretty cool.
